This is a HUGE issue, and I'm surprised hardly anyone else has noticed this. I don't think you'll get an answer in the forums, so I'm actually going to CALL Dell (they can't just ignore a phone call like they can an email :emotion-5: ). The fact that Dell or Intel haven't done anything about this is alarming. So I went back to Windows Programs and Features, and disabled Hyper-V. So I ran it, and guess what? It wasn't just the monitor program that wasn't working, THE WHOLE TURBO BOOST FEATURE ITSELF WASN'T WORKING!!!! Anyways, I like to overclock and push my performance to the limits, so I have testing and benchmarking software. Basic description (pdf) of power states: C0 - active state. If it is working, you will see the current frequency change as you add load to the CPUs, due to the multiplier increasing dynamically under load. And I even got the unspecified error like you did! See, I'm a PC gamer. i7z is a good tool for monitoring Intel Turbo Boost for Intel CPUs that support it (i7 and later) on Linux. Please restart the program (or something along those lines). Intel Turbo Boost Technology Monitor 2.6.2. Anyways, as soon as I enabled that, and it got all configured and rebooted and stuff, the first thing I was greeted with was "Turbo Boost Monitor has stopped Working. I originally enabled Hyper-V, because Windows 8 no longer supports Microsoft Virtual PC 2007 (or even XP Mode for that matter). Here is why the Turbo Boost Monitor isn't working: I just for the life of me couldn't figure out why the Turbo Boost monitor isn't working. DUDE, I am having the EXACT SAME PROBLEM.
